Welcome to the Frangipani Society of Australia's website.
In the following pages you will find out about our society and what we do in great detail. We can only hope that you will get as much enjoyment from these amazing plants and this site as we do, our passion for them is contageous, we have all realized this. We have a lot to share and hope that you will enjoy letting us show it all to you.
We produce official publications each year, keeping members informed on all things ‘Frangipani’ – (also known as Plumeria after Charles Plumier the Franciscan monk who discovered the frangipani)– articles may include information on care, culture, exhibition, supplies or location of new varieties, grafting development, uses, and even the history of frangipani. This publication is called “Frangipani Facts” and each new edition is most eagerly-anticipated by members!
Below is a link to some selected articles from a recent issue's of Frangipani Facts. When you become a member of the Frangipani Society, you will have access to the full catalogue of previous Frangipani Facts, which is a treasure trove of information and pictures.
